Part of the Naked Pup range, this recipe is designed for growing dogs. The fine mince is convenient for puppy mealtimes, while inulin from chicory root supplies prebiotic fibre to support the developing gut microbiome.

Puppy feeding guide

Naked Dog recommends approximately 4–8% of a puppy’s current body weight each day, depending on age and development. Its feeding guide starts at around 8% during weaning and up to 12 weeks, then around 6% after 12 weeks, gradually reducing as the puppy matures. Split the daily amount between appropriate puppy meals and adjust to growth and body condition.

For example, 6% of a 5kg puppy’s weight is 300g of food per day: 5kg × 0.06 = 0.3kg. This is an illustration, rather than a fixed serving for every 5kg puppy. Follow the current pack directions and your puppy’s individual needs.

Storage and preparation

Keep frozen until needed. Defrost overnight in the fridge, serve raw and keep the remaining food refrigerated. Naked Dog advises using defrosted food within four days. Do not refreeze once thawed. Wash hands, utensils and feeding bowls after handling raw food, and always provide fresh drinking water.
