Beaphar Anti-Parasite Spot On for Golden Hamsters and Gerbils is an effective, veterinary strength medicine containing ivermectin to treat lice, fleas, mange mites, other mites and roundworms in small animals.
Beaphar Anti-Parasite Spot On for Golden Hamsters and Gerbils is easy-to-use and controls parasites up to four weeks.
Suitable for hamsters, gerbils, mice, rats and guinea pigs weighing 50–300g.
For animals weighing more than 300g, use Beaphar Anti-Parasite Spot On for Rabbits, Guinea pigs, Ferrets and Rats.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT USE ON RUSSIAN, ROBOROVSKI, CHINESE OR DWARF HAMSTERS, AS THEY USUALLY WEIGHT LESS THAN 50g AND THIS COULD RESULT IN OVERDOSING.
We recommend treating all the animals in the cage or hutch at the same time, and treating the environment with a suitable insecticide.

Weigh your pet carefully before application and use the following table to calculate the correct dose.
Animals weighing 50g: Apply 1 pipette
Animals weighing 50–100g: Apply 2 pipettes
Animals weighing 100–150g: Apply 3 pipettes
Animals weighing 150–200g: Apply 4 pipettes
Animals weighing 200–250g: Apply 5 pipettes
Animals weighing 250–300g: Apply 6 pipettes
For animals weighing more than 300g, use Beaphar Anti-Parasite Spot On for Rabbits, Guinea pigs, Ferrets and Rats.

1. Hold the pipette in an upright position, twist and pull the cap off.
2. Hold your pet firmly but gently and apply the entire contents of the pipette to the skin at the base of the neck.
3. Squeeze the pipette several times across the skin to empty its contents completely. While squeezing out the contents, spread the solution over as great a surface of the skin as possible.
If required, treatment can be repeated after four weeks.

DO NOT USE ON ANIMALS WEIGHING LESS THAN 50g. Do not use on animals intended for human consumption. Do not use on any other species other than those indicated. Do not use on pregnant or lactating animals. Do not use on sick or convalescent animals. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Should accidental eye contact occur, rinse immediately with clean, fresh water and seek medical advice if irritation persists. Do not smoke, eat or drink while handling the product. Do not allow children to play with your pet until the fur is fully dry. Serious reactions, including deaths, have been reported in dogs (especially Collies, Old English Sheep Dogs and related breeds), tortoises and turtles treated with products containing the active ingredient. If signs of disease persist or appear, consult a veterinary surgeon. Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water following treatment. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. For animal treatment only.
